متن کاملTowards an Efficient Distributed Geometry for Parallel Mesh Generation
This paper discusses the implementation of a distributed geometry for parallel mesh generation, involving dynamic load-balancing and hence dynamic re-partitioning of the geometry. A novel approach is described for improving the efficiency of the distributed geometry interface when dealing with irregular shaped mesh partitions.
متن کاملA mesh generation procedure to simulate bimaterials
It is difficult to develop an algorithm which is able to generate the appropriate mesh around the interfaces in bimaterials. In this study, a corresponding algorithm is proposed for this class of unified structures made from different materials with arbitrary shapes. The non-uniform mesh is generated adaptively based on advancing front technique available in Abaqus software. Implementing severa...
متن کاملMulti-Objective Particle Swarm Optimization for Facility Location Problem in Wireless Mesh Networks
Wireless mesh networks have seen a real progress due of their implementation at a low cost. They present one of Next Generation Networks technologies and can serve as home, companies and universities networks. In this paper, we propose and discuss a new multi-objective model for nodes deployment optimization in Multi-Radio Multi-Channel Wireless Mesh Networks. We exploit the trade-off between n...
متن کاملA Domain-Specific Language and Editor for Parallel Particle Methods
Domain-specific languages (DSLs) are of increasing importance in scientific high-performance computing to reduce development costs, raise the level of abstraction and, thus, ease scientific programming. However, designing DSLs is not easy, as it requires knowledge of the application domain and experience in language engineering and compilers. Consequently, many DSLs follow a weak approach using...
